The Tamezin team is willing to visit any school, library or youth club to run workshops on journalism, or graphic design & illustration. Fashion and photography workshops are held at Tamezin's offices and are open to all.

Tamezin is a magazine for young people produced by young people. A forum for communication and a meeting point for ideas, the glossy, 56 page publication features interviews, travel, fashion, health, beauty and current affairs. As Vanessa, aged 15, put it: "Tamezin is different to other magazines. It doesn’t revolve around celebrities and it’s more about real life people."

The young volunteers at Tamezin are involved in every aspect of the magazine from design and feature writing to marketing and distribution. The Editorial Committee welcomes articles by anyone aged 12-25, and to submit these, email the team.

Training is given to all volunteers, through contact with professional journalists, designers and photographers, but also through workshops and group sessions, held in schools, libraries and the Tamezin Club. These workshops offer practical opportunities to explore aspects of journalism such as interviews, feature-writing, fashion shoots and design.

Tamezin's annual Young Journalist Award gives the winner work experience on a national newspaper or television channel.

Market research and publicity campaigns provide further opportunities for involvement.
